About GizmoThe Story of the Head Dog at Boston Terrier PicturesWant to know about Gizmo, the main dog here at this website? Great! Here's the scoop... ![]() Portrait of Gizmo Hi there... Gizmo here. My mom, Kathi, asked me to tell my story, so here goes... I was born in Allentown, a little town in central New Jersey. When I was only 7 weeks old, I was taken with my sister from my mother and the only home I had ever known to a pet store a couple of hours away. I had only been in the pen there for a little while when two nice ladies and a man asked if they could take me out and play with me. I was happy to go because my sister had already gone into the playroom with some other people. At first, I was a little scared of these new people, but I soon realized they were kind and I started to play with them. Before, I knew it, they were taking me home! Over the next few months, I got to know Kathi, Jim, Sarah and Jenn, and they became my beloved family, although I did cry for my mom and sisters at first. Once I got the hang of "holding it" till morning, Kathi & Jim let me sleep in their bed at night and that helped me feel safe and happy. I LOVE snuggling under the covers in the curve of their bodies! I've been on a lot of adventures in my life already... moving from NJ all the way across the country to Montana and now Idaho. The first time was so scary, especially when they took my crate down and carried it out the door with all my toys and food and stuff. But I've gotten used to moving now and I know my mom and dad will never leave me behind. ![]() Me with a BT puppy friend A couple of years ago, I got a girlfriend/sister... Cheyenne. Dad says she's a black lab. All I know is she's big and black and tons of fun to rumble with, race with and play tug of war with. And sometimes we snuggle together on the couch, in the crate or in bed too. Shortly after Cheyenne came to live with us, my grandma got sick and so her little puppy joined our family too. She's a Shih Tzu and I don't care too much about her. Actually, she's kind of annoying. She always tries to butt in when Cheyenne and I are playing. Mostly I ignore her, but every once in a while, we'll get to playing. She's OK I guess, but I really like big dogs like me the best. A few months ago, my human sister, Sarah, came to live with us again. (Mom says she lived in a place called Texas, and then Greece, for a while.) I was so happy to see her again, because she's one of my favorite people (next to Dad, of course, who's my all-time favorite!). Anyway, I snuggle on the couch with Sarah every chance I get. I guess that gives you a good idea of my life so far (I'm really still a kid). Here are some of my favorite things:
